ABOUT

Our rich history is deeply rooted in a passion for photography that spans generations.

The story of Hypnostudio begins, in fact, back in 1969, with Francesco, a young 17-year-old photography enthusiast who, thanks to the encouragement of a high school teacher, explored Naples and Italy through the lens of his first camera, a Kodak Retina |I rangefinder camera given to him by his father.

Always fueled by an indefatigable curiosity, his passion evolved over time, leading him to document various aspects of local life and culture, continuing to evolve as an advanced amateur photographer and also working actively from early on in film development and printing in both black and white and color.

After almost forty years dedicated to reportage, fashion and costume photography, conducted mainly as an amateur, 2007 represents a turning point:

the project for the realization of a photographic book on the female figure attracts the attention of Edo Bertoglio, an established Swiss photographer and filmmaker, who recognizes in Francesco's images not simple photographs, but real narratives worthy of being shown to the public.

Thus, on March 25, 2010, Francesco opened his first exhibition, marking the beginning of his engagement in the field of artistic photography and portraiture, immediately becoming a reference for artists seeking emotional photography and unique collaboration.

This new phase led him to participate in numerous solo and group exhibitions in cities such as Lugano, Milan, Florence, Naples, Rome, Paris and New York, consolidating his reputation in the field.

In 2014, the opening of Hypnostudio in Lugano represents a new chapter: with the slogan "Please Be Naked," Francesco invites vulnerability, using photography to explore and reveal the hidden essence of people, a tool for psychological analysis that allows his subjects to gain greater self-awareness.

Hypnostudio soon becomes a well-rounded center of communication and confrontation, where the image serves both personal expression but also corporate identity. In addition to photography services, Francesco offers photography classes and posing lessons.

In 2021, Francesco's son, Roberto, joined this artistic adventure, bringing new energy and perspectives, especially in the corporate arena. Together they dedicate their work to creating deep connections through the art of photography, enriching the experience of anyone who comes into contact with their studio.
